Removal to take place this evening for Michael Noonan's wife Florence

Large crowds are expected to gather in Limerick this evening for the repose of Florence Noonan, wife of Finance Minister Michael Noonan.

Mrs Noonan passed away on Thursday night, after battling Alzheimers for over 10 years.

The 68-year-old's remains will repose at Griffins Funeral Home in Limerick between 4pm and 8pm this evening, before Requiem Mass at St Paul's church in Dooradoyle on Sunday at 2pm.

She is survived by her husband and their five children.
