Man injured in Longford shooting
A man in his 20s is recovering in hospital after a shooting in Co Longford this morning.
Gardaí said they were called to a property in Kilmoyle at about 6.30am by a man who reported hearing noises outside his home.
Two men have been arrested for questioning at Longford Garda Station, while the injured man is being treated at Mullingar Regional Hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
