Poll indicates majority support for same-sex marriage
Almost three quarters of people in Ireland back the idea of same-sex marriage.
A Red C poll carried out towards the end of last year on behalf of the Government asked voters their opinion on various proposed reforms, including the abolition of the Seanad, and whether the offence of blasphemy should be removed from the Constitution.
