The trial of a Sligo man accused of the sexual assault and rape of his teenage daughter has continued in legal argument in the absence of the jury for a second day.

The 48-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to eight counts of sexual assault and seven counts of rape at the family home between September 2005 and September 2007.
