PayPal to expand in Dublin

It has been reported that the Government's jobs strategy will get a boost shortly with a major expansion of PayPal.

The company, a subsidiary of ebay, already employs 1,500 people at its European headquarters in Blanchardstown in Dublin.

The Sunday Business Post reports that the announcement by PayPal may come as soon as next week.

Last year, it was rumoured that the company was planning to create around a thousand jobs.
