Environment Minister Phil Hogan has rejected a call to intervene in a dispute over the transfer of Dublin City Council's waste collection services to a private company.

Environment Minister Phil Hogan has rejected a call to intervene in a dispute over the transfer of Dublin City Council's waste collection services to a private company.

It comes as Greyhound, which took over the service from the council last month, warned some 18,000 householders who haven't already signed up and paid its charges that their rubbish will not be collected from this Thursday.
