Gardaí make three arrests in Drogheda shooting probe
Gardaí have arrested three people in their investigation into the murder of Seamus McMahon.
Two men in their 20s and a teenage girl were arrested in Drogheda, Co Louth, this morning.
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, at Drogheda and Dundalk Garda Stations.
This brings to seven the number of people arrested as part of this investigation.
Gardaí are investigating the shooting incident in which two men entered a house at Bóthar Crionn, Dundalk, and shot Mr McMahon on March 21, 2010.
He has was taken to Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, where he subsequently died from his injuries.
