Rescuers believe body is that of missing trawler skipper
Searchers for two crewmen who drowned in the Tit Bonhomme tragedy three weeks ago have said they are satisfied that a body found in Glandore Harbour in Cork today is that of 52-year-old skipper, Michael Hayes.
The body, spotted just before lunchtime today, has been taken to Cork University Hospital, where a post mortem is expected to confirm his identity.
Twenty-four-year-old crewman Saied Ali Eldin is still missing since the trawler went down off Union Hall on January 15, while the bodies of the three other crew have been recovered.
