Man who impeded murder investigation jailed for six years
An Albanian man has today been sentenced to six years for impeding the Garda investigation in to the murder of father-of-two, Peter Gunn.
Kastriot Boza of Newgrove Avenue, Sandymount in Dublin, admitted disposing of a meat knife and blood-stained carpet at a flat in the city on or about January 6 and 7, 2009.
The stabbed body of 29-year-old Peter Gunn from Glasnevin was found several days later at Dunsoghly Lane in The Ward.
Gardaí accept that Mr Boza disposed of evidence because he was under threat and in fear for his life.
