Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Maynooth robbery

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the robbery of a cash in transit van in Maynooth this morning.

Two men armed with metal bars assaulted a security guard who was servicing an ATM at a shopping centre on the Dublin road in the town at around 10.45am.
