Man dies in Finglas shooting
A 36-year-old man has been shot dead at a pub in Finglas at about 1.05am this morning.
A man armed with a gun approached the victim and shot him a number of times in the head.
The victim was taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead.
The scene of the shooting has been sealed off for a technical examination, and a post mortem is expected to take place on his remains today.
