Sinn Féin said today that it will seek legal advice if the Government decides not to put the new European Fiscal Treaty to a referendum.

EU leaders are continuing talks in Brussels this evening, in an effort to agree on the wording of the document, which is aimed at bringing an end to the eurozone debt crisis through tougher budget rules.
