60,000 more people affected by poverty in last year - study

The number of people affected by poverty in Ireland has increased by almost 60,000 in one year, according to a new study from Social Justice Ireland.

The study said the issue of poverty would only get worse, because unemployment is not falling and jobs are not on offer.
