Galway home has 18 times acceptable level of radon

Radon levels that are 18 times higher than the acceptable rate have been detected at a Galway home, according to the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland.

Nearly 2,600 homes were tested in the second half of last year, and 321 of those had a high level of the dangerous gas.
