Noonan holds talks with EC and ECB reps

Finance Minister Michael Noonan will hold separate talks with representatives from the European Commission and the European Central Bank today, to discuss ways to reduce Ireland's debt burden.

Mr Noonan is expected to raise the issue of a reduction in the cost of paying back loans used to recapitalise Irish banks.
