Navy divers are expected to return to the sheltered cove in Glandore Bay where the bodies of two other fishermen who drowned in the tragedy were recovered on Thursday.

Skipper Michael Hayes and Egyptian crewmen Wael Mohammed and Saied Ali Eldin are still missing. Theie vessel, the Tit Bonhomme, went down early last Sunday morning.

Karim Mukhtar, Deputy Consul at the Egyptian embassy, has thanked the local community in Union Hall for looking after the friends and relatives of the missing crewmen so well.

"I was impressed by the way the families were treated in a very generous way by the local community, (who) offered them houses to stay in," he said. "It was impressive."
