Man seriously injured after fall from car bonnet

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital today after falling from a car bonnet in Cork.

The incident happened on Glasheen Road in the city at around 11pm last night.

The man is being treated at Cork University Hospital for serious head injuries.

Gardaí at Togher, who are appealing for witnesses, are trying to establish how the man ended up on the bonnet of the car being driven by a man in his 60s.
