Vita Cortex talks to resume today

Union representatives and management at Vita Cortex will resume talks at the Labour Relations Commission in Cork today.

The 32 workers at the foam-packaging plant on the Kinsale Road have been staging a sit-in over redundancy payments, since the factory closed five weeks ago.

The company claims that the funds are not there to cover the cost.

Talks were adjourned after seven hours last Tuesday and will resume this morning.
