Second body recovered off west Cork coast

The body of a second fisherman has been recovered from the water at Union Hall in Cork today where the Tit Bonhomme trawler went down in heavy seas last Sunday.

The body of a second fisherman has been recovered from the water at Union Hall in Cork today where the Tit Bonhomme trawler went down in heavy seas last Sunday.

Earlier, the remains of 26-year-old Egyptian crewman Attia Shaban were recovered by a naval dive team close to the wreckage of the vessel.

Members of the Egyptian community gathered to pray as his body was removed by hearse.

The search operation to locate three other crew members is continuing.
