Hayes: Banks must resolve mortgage difficulties quickly

The Government is calling on banks to move quickly and resolve cases of those in mortgage difficulties - including writing off the loans.

Junior Minister Brian Hayes has said financial institutions must also ensure reasonable mortgage lending returns this year.
