Sinn Féin raises prospect of second bailout
Sinn Féin has raised the prospect of a second bailout after a meeting with the EU/IMF/ECB troika.
Officials from the European Commission, IMF and European Central Bank are meeting groups as part of the latest review of the programme.
Sinn Féin said it wanted to see how much change away from a programme of austerity could be allowed.
Gerry Adams said that unless there were a radical change in direction, "…it would appear to me and to people more expert than me, that a second bailuot is inevitable.
"We're going to bring forward a jobs creation package and we would be really pleased…if we could identify how much space there was in terms of the (troika) programme," he added.
"We're arguing for example that we should take money from the National Pension Reserve Fund and from the European Investment Bank."
