Socialist TD: Household charge is 'unjust'

Campaigners against the €100 household charge have reiterated their call for people not to pay the tax.

They have met in Dublin this afternoon and have urged people to refuse to even register for the charge.

Socialist TD Claire Daly has rejected suggestions that they are trying to scaremonger people into believing the tax rise.

She said it is an unjust law that needs to be changed.
