Kenny to meet British PM in London
Taoiseach Enda Kenny will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron in Downing Street today.
The two leaders will focus their discussions on the survival of the euro, trade and the North.
Britain has opted out of the proposed Brussels deal to save the euro in order to prevent restrictions on its financial services sector, and Mr Kenny will be anxious to ensure that Irish business is not damaged as a result.
A spokesperson for the Taoiseach said Mr Kenny feels the relationship between Ireland and Britain has reached a new level after the Queen's visit, and today's trip to London will reinforce the trade and political relationship between the two countries.
Mr Kenny will also speak at a Reuters news agency event this morning, as well as visit the Luton Irish Centre.
