The annual BT Young Scientist Exhibition kicks off at the RDS in Dublin today.

The annual BT Young Scientist Exhibition kicks off at the RDS in Dublin today.

It has attracted 550 entries from pupils who have been working on projects at 221 schools around Ireland.

The event is now in its 48th year.
