A 46-year-old man has been arrested attempting to leave the country after the death of his mother in a nursing home.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested attempting to leave the country after the death of his mother in a nursing home.

The man was detained at Dublin Airport this afternoon after relatives raised the alarm.
