Gardaí treating Dublin body find as suspicious

Gardaí are appealing for information following the discovery of a man's body on Dublin's southside.

The man in his seventies was found dead at 2pm this afternoon, after emergency services were alerted to a fire at a property in Kimmage.

It is thought the blaze took place in a unit of a retirement complex at Ravensdale Close.

Gardaí are treating the man's death as suspicious, and have cordoned off the scene for a technical examination.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed, and anyone with information is being asked to contact Gardaí.
