25% of drivers consider downgrading insurance

A quarter of motorists in Ireland have considered downgrading their insurance because of tighter personal finances.

However, a survey by the AA also shows that just 5% of drivers switched from fully comprehensive cover to either third party or third party, fire and theft within the last two years.
