Gardaí in Cork are investigating the deaths of two men on Christmas Day in the city.

Gardaí in Cork are investigating the deaths of two men on Christmas Day in the city.

The men died at a house on Rockgrove Terrace, Cork, at approximately 1pm on Christmas Day.

Gardaí were first alerted to the incident when a 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at Rockgrove Terrace and removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will be performed.

The second man, aged 32, was removed from Rockgrove Terrace to Mercy Hospital at 8pm on Sunday in a critical condition and passed away in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí have said anyone who was present at this gathering should seek medical attention.

They are also appealling for witnesses who may have been present in Rockgrove Terrace either on December 24th or 25 to come forward with any information.
