PSNI investigate shooting incident in Belfast

A gunman has fired four shots at the door of a house where a family of five lives, in the Short Strand in East Belfast.

Nobody was injured in the shooting at Madrid Street shortly after 11.30pm last night.

Belfast Mayor Niall O Donnghaile, who lives nearby, has said anyone with information should bring it to the PSNI.
