Inmate found dead in Cloverhill courthouse
A prisoner has been found dead in a holding cell at a courthouse in Dublin.
The Irish Prison Service confirmed the 32-year-old inmate died while in custody at Cloverhill Courthouse in west Dublin.
The death of the man, who was on remand for murder, is not being treated as suspicious.
His next of kin are being notified.
A spokesman said: “We can confirm an inmate has died in custody.
“As in all deaths in custody the Irish Prison Service and An Garda Síochana will be investigating it.”
