Waterford manufacturing plant to shed 29 jobs

A manufacturing company in Waterford is to cut 29 jobs at its plant.

Honeywell Turbo Technologies has said the global automotive industry has become increasingly competitive and as a result it must continually review its business structure.

The firm said it is seeking voluntary redundancies.

Honeywell Turbo Technologies manufactures engine boosting systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
