Nulty backs rise in cigarette prices

The rebel TD Patrick Nulty has voted with the Government on the first vote of the Budget.

That is despite the newly elected Dublin West TD saying he would not support the Budget.

In a vote in the past few minutes on the 25 cent hike on cigarettes, Deputy Nulty voted with the coalition who won by 136 votes to 23 against.
