Quinn brands Anglo action 'vindictive'

Anglo Irish Bank's bid to secure €1.7bn from Sean Quinn has been branded "pointless, self-serving and vindictive" by the businessman.

Yesterday, the Commercial Court ordered Mr Quinn to pay the money to Anglo, now known as the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation.
