Elderly woman killed in Roscommon accident

Gardaí are today appealing for witnesses to a car crash in Co Roscommon, which claimed the life of a 65-year-old woman.

The single-vehicle collision happened on the Westport to Longford Road at Carskeagh at 4.15pm yesterday afternoon, when the car hit a ditch.
