Roscommon road accident injures two

Two people have been injured in a road accident in County Roscommon.

The single-vehicle accident happened shortly before 4.30pm this afternoon.

The two injured people are being treated in hospital for their injuries and their condition is not known.

Motorists are being advised that they could face delays on the N5, Westport to Longford Road in Frenchpark at Chariots Bar on the Dublin side, as a result.

Gardaí advise motorists to take an alternative route.
