Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Wexford assaul

Gardaí are appealing for information on an assault in Wexford last week in which a man in his 40s was injured.

The injured man was discovered at a derelict hotel at St Helens, Rosslare, on Friday last at about 2pm.

He was taken to Wexford General Hospital and subsequently transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

Gardaí are asking anyone with information, particularly anyone who may have been in the St Helens area between the early hours of Friday morning and 2pm to contact them at Wexford Garda Station on 053 9165200.
