Man due in court in connection with Garda station petrol bombing

A man will appear in court later following an arson attack at Castlebar Garda station in Mayo early yesterday morning.

A man entered the station shortly before 4am, and threw a flaming object at the counter.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

A 25-year-old man is due to appear at Galway District Court later.
