Gardaí concerned for second man in Bandon investigation
A murder investigation is expected to be launched later by Gardaí investigating the death of a man in County Cork.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jonathan Duke's body was pulled from the river Bandon on Sunday night
A post mortem was carried out on Mr Duke's body last night and Gardaí will wait until the results are known before confirming the status of their inquiry.
It is suspected that the father of one was assaulted in a row at a flat in Bandon before being thrown in the nearby river.
Two people, a Cork woman and an eastern European man, were arrested on Sunday night and are still in custody.
Meanwhile, Gardaí have issued an appeal for another man to contact them.
The missing man is a resident at the apartment complex where the assault took place, and it is reported that Gardaí are concerned for his welfare.
Gardaí at Bandon are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
