Motorists on the M7 between Kildare and Dublin are facing severe delays this morning after a bus broke down.

It happened on the northbound side earlier, between the Naas South and Naas North Junctions.

However traffic is now backed up from the junction 10 Naas North as far as junction 13 Kildare.

The AA says onlookers are causing the delays of up to 50 minutes, because there are no lanes blocked.

A tow truck is en route but is taking some time to get through the traffic.
