Family concerned about missing Leitrim man
The family of a missing Leitrim man said today that they are very concerned for his welfare.
Patrick Heeran, 48, was last seen at his home in Aughavas in South Leitrim on October 3.
However, when his sisters visited his home where he lived alone the next day, he was not there - despite the fact that the TV was still on and an open can of beer was sitting on the table beside his cigarettes.
Patrick is a heroin addict and his family say they are extremely worried that he is either dead or is being prevented from contacting them.
