Former solicitor charged with fraud offences

A former solicitor in Wicklow has been charged with theft and fraud offences in relation to mortgage loans totalling nearly €1m.

Mary Miley, aged 54, of Duncairn Avenue appeared this afternoon before Bray District Court where she was remanded on bail for four weeks for the book of evidence to be served.

She is facing eight charges dating back to between November 2005 and May 2008.
