Man and sons rescued from Wicklow mountains

A man and his two young sons have been rescued from the Wicklow mountains early this morning, after they got lost on their way down Lugnaquilla.

The three had climbed Wicklow's highest mountain yesterday afternoon, but lost their way while attempting to reach the Glen of Imaal, due to poor visibility and failing light.
