A recount of votes has been ordered in the Dublin West by-election.

A recount of votes has been ordered in the Dublin West by-election.

The challenge came from the Socialist Party whose candidate Ruth Coppinger was facing elimination on the fourth count.

Labour's Patrick Nulty currently leads by over 3,000 votes. However only 18 ballots separate Coppinger from Fianna Fáil's David McGuinness.
