Dana last candidate to concede

Dana has become the last of the six unsuccessful presidential candidates to concede defeat to Michael D Higgins.

“Dana Rosemary Scallon wishes to congratulate Mr Michael D Higgins on his election as Uachtaran na hÉireann," a statement said.
