Pregnant teen brought first baby when begging, court hears

A judge has called on social services to investigate the welfare of a baby girl who was brought out begging on a Dublin street by her pregnant teenage mother.

The Dublin Children's Court heard that the then 17-year-old mother, who is from Romania, had been begging on Thomas Street, on April 16 last.
