Limerick car crash puts two in hospital
Two men have been seriously hurt in a crash in Limerick this morning.
It happened shortly after 1am when two cars collided at Knockane Cross, Garrydoolis, Pallasgreen.
The driver of one of the cars, in his early fifties, was brought to the Mid Western Regional Hospital with serious injuries but he later transferred to Cork University Hospital.
A second man in his mid thirties, who was a passenger in that car, was also brought to Limerick Hospital and remains in a serious condition there.
The man who was driving the second car was uninjured.
The road remains sealed off and diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Bruff are appealing to anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward.
