RNLI rescue teenager on Lough Swilly

A 19-year-old kayaker had to be rescued on Lough Swilly in Co. Donegal earlier today.

Members of the Lough Swilly RNLI and the coastguard were dispatched at around 2pm, after he was reported missing.

The man was eventually found holding on tightly to his upturned kayak.

He was treated for hypothermia but is now said to be doing fine.
