Latest: Five fishermen have been rescued after their boat lost power and was drifting in seas off the Donegal coast this afternoon.

Lough Swilly RNLI rescued six men from a sinking fishing vessel off the Donegal coast at 3.15am this morning.

Volunteer lifeboat crew with Lough Swilly RNLI were involved in the dramatic rescue of a lone fisherman this afternoon.

A 19-year-old kayaker had to be rescued on Lough Swilly in Co. Donegal earlier today.
