Gardaí investigate robbery of woman in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the robbery of a woman in the city centre on Wednesday.

The 67-year-old was with her husband on Setanta Place when a lone man snatched her handbag and dragged her to the ground.

The suspect, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, then ran in the direction of Nassau Street.

He is described as being between 5'5" and 5'8" and was wearing dark clothing and white runners at the time.

The woman was taken to hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

Gardaí at Pearse Street are appealing for information.
