Aviva staff may strike, as ballot on industrial action to be put to workers

Workers at Aviva headquarters in Dublin have voted to hold a ballot on a campaign of industrial action.

It comes after the insurer announced today that it is to cut 950 jobs at its Irish operations in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
